You are a junior clerk at City Hall. Every day, citizens bring you their petitions: a sick child's medicine, a dead son's body, one signature for a pension. Check the papers, follow the rules, stamp. The rules get worse. You climb higher. Somewhere along the way, you stop asking why.

GRISHEHIR MORNING

State approved

A narrative bureaucracy game about complicity

In the fictional city of Grishehir, the regime tightens a little more every morning, and you are the hand that makes it real.

Read, compare, decide

Petitions, ID cards, official orders and the day's regulations. Approve, reject, or report. Cite the exact rule your decision rests on.

Every stamp has a face

Mothers, miners, teachers, students: many come back, and what happened to them depends on you. Your lawyer knocks every evening to read your decisions back to you.

The city is watching

A live social media feed reacts to every decision. Praise the government and get lynched online; reply and it gets worse.

Weekends are abolished

29 days, two chapters, many endings, and a final chapter you may not want to reach.

Fully voiced

Fully voiced in English and Turkish. Text in eight languages.

City Hall

Climb six floors.

From intern to Mayor: a new office, a new home, new luxuries to buy. Each promotion takes an interview, and a little more of you.

A damp basement room with an iron bed and a small desk.
